Simple Harmonic Motion

Simple Harmonic Motion

In mechanics and physics, simple harmonic motion is a special type of periodic motion where we look at the restoring force on the moving object which acts towards the object’s equilibrium position and becomes directly proportional to the magnitude of the object’s displacement. In this lesson, we will try and visualize Free-Body-Diagrams for a block of mass attached to a spring and also look at the equations of motions associated with it.
