Conic Sections

Conic sections are solids that are generated by slicing a right circular cone at different angles. Based on the angle and the distance from the center of the cone, you can get a circle, a parabola, an ellipse, or a hyperbola. In this lesson, we will look at identifying various conic sections graphically and algebraically.
